Diljit Dosanjh continues to win hearts all over the world and he will now be a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The Punjabi star announced the news on Instagram.
The episode, which will be aired on June 17, 2024, will also feature Eddie Murphy and The Bear star Matty Matheson.
Diljit captioned the post: “PANJABI AAGYE OYEE! This Week’s Guest BHANGRA HUN MAINSTREAM PENA PROPER HOLLYWOOD.
“(The Punjabis have arrived, this week’s guest. Now Bhangra will happen on a mainstream level, proper Hollywood.)”
Diljit’s announcement excited fellow Indian celebrities, with his Crew co-star Kareena Kapoor writing:
“Uffff.”
Diljit replied: “Our only one is Kareena.”
His Jatt & Juliet 3 co-star Neeru Bajwa posted clapping hands and party face emojis while Mrunal Thakur commented:
“What a great thing.”
American rapper Raja Kumari posted fire emojis and said: “Let’s go.”
Neha Dhupia called Diljit the “GOAT”.
Singer Harshdeep Kaur posted a star-eyed face and clapping emojis.
Fans were also happy that Diljit would be appearing on a renowned American talk show.
One fan said: “This is history. In fact you are breaking all the records. More power to you.”
Another wondered how the interview would go, writing:
“Will Diljit Talk in English? Or will Jimmy talk in Punjabi? The nation wants to know.”
A third speculated Diljit’s next move:
“Hollywood is not far from you. Now I think the next move of Diljit will be a Hollywood movie.”

On June 11, Diljit Dosanjh was in Mumbai for the trailer launch of Jatt & Juliet 3.
Neeru praised him, calling Diljit a rockstar.
She admitted that watching Diljit grow makes her emotional.
Neeru said: “Everything that he has done for the generation, even for the kids who have faced racism, for me and everybody.
“I had attended his show once and the feeling cannot be put in words.
“Seeing him grow, I get emotional. He is our rockstar, our superstar, and we love him.”
Diljit Dosanjh is making waves in the United States and the UK.
One person recently shared a video of Primark on Oxford Street, London, playing his track ‘Naina’.
The viral video showed shoppers searching for clothes while Diljit’s song played on the speakers.
The fan exclaimed: “Oh my god. Diljit is everywhere. His songs are playing in a store in London. Wow!
“Forget shopping, I was just happy hearing the song itself.”
