The Jewish Riot

Jewish Riot
By Daniel Donny (Form 8J2)

One day on a Monday evening Joshua a 13-year-old Jewish person was sitting with Saiqa, one of his Muslim friends at a café sipping some hot chocolate on a cold evening.

After they finished hanging out at the café they ran into two 13 and 14 year old British boys and one 13-year-old British girl from their school.

The British boys and the 13-year-old girl were known for being bullies of other people’s religions. Their names were Tyler, Amir and Emma.

Tyler saw Joshua and Saiqa walking out of the café and thought that he should have a little “fun” with them. He told Emma and Amir to come along with him and they did.

Tyler went up behind Joshua and punched his elbow then asked how it’s going. Joshua proceeded to ignore him and then Emma noticed Joshuas Jewish hat and said how ugly and flat it is.

Saiqa decided to stand up for Joshua and stated that it is not ugly at all, she also stated that it was religious and how he must wear it. Amir then kicked Saiqa on the knee and said that nobody permitted her to speak.

Tyler then started to reach for Joshua’s hat and pulled it off. Amir then proceeded to laugh at how ugly Joshua’s hair is and then noticed Saiqa’s hijab and told Tyler to try and pull that off too.

Tyler then proceeded to reach for it but then Saiqa ran off and ditched Joshua.

Joshua then yelled at how disrespectful the bullies are towards religions. Tyler didn’t care but then he got in his fighting position showing that he wanted to beat up Joshua for even having the guts to stand up for himself like that.

A few kids from the side of the road noticed the fight and then started to form a crowd around Tyler and Joshua. One of the people from the crowd even started to record the fight, her name was Latisha and she was 14 years old.

Joshua tried to escape from the fight but there was no way out as the crowd was blocking all possible exits from the fight.

Tyler got ready to beat Joshua up as Joshua was there cowering in fear. Tyler then went up to him and started beating him up. He punched him in the gut, slapped his head and even gave him a few bruises on his leg.

Luckily for Joshua Saiqa didn’t actually ditch him but she called the police to help Joshua out. The police saw the fight and a few people recording. The crowd saw the police and ran away while the people who recorded the fight posted it on social media.
