Today was my first day at my new school. I made the decision to move schools because when I transitioned into Emma I wanted to have a fresh start without any remembrance of my past. My new school was good everyone seemed quite welcoming and accepting. I’m looking forward to going to school tomorrow.

Today was AMAZING !!!
At lunch today I finished eating and was about to go outside when someone came and sat next to me. She said her name was Alia and that she was transgender, the same as me, and asked if I wanted to be her friend. We talked for ages and we’re almost late for our next lesson.
I can’t believe I’ve already found a friend who is already so close to me.

Today I woke up with a friend request from a boy called Tyler, I accepted it thinking he might want to make some friends, he asked if I was part of LGBTQ. I told him I was transgender and he quickly blocked me. I didn’t think anything of it since he might have thought I was someone else but a few hours later Alia sent me a screenshot of Tyler’s post. He posted a screenshot of our chat when I told him I was part of LGBTQ. He captioned it with ‘Ewwwwwwww’. I wasn’t mad about what he did I was more mad that it had received over 50 likes meaning people agree with him.

Yesterday Alia helped me talk to my teachers about what had happened online. We showed them all the pictures and they were shocked they said that Tyler would be issued with an immediate exclusion.
I didn’t see him anywhere today. I am relieved and happy that this situation got dealt with and that Alia was there to help me through it.
