THE COMPANY:
We’re exclusively recruiting on behalf of a market leading multi-site business that is looking to expand their team due to the expansion and the addition of several IT Automation projects operating in the business.
As a Trainee IT Support Engineer, you’ll be involved with 1st & 2nd Line Support, Desktop Support, Setting Up New Users, Configuring Laptops / Hardware, Troubleshooting Hardware & Software Issues and Undertaking Training, both internally and externally, to improve your overall IT experience.
The business actively encourages their IT team to undertake relevant qualification to enhance their skills set and to be able to provide additional value to the business. Regular financial reviews and development opportunities are available to enable you to continually grow with the company.
TRAINEE IT SUPPORT ENGINEER ROLE:
- First and Second Line User Support
- Providing support to users both remotely and in person
- Setting up new computers and installing / configuring required software
- Making Active Directory Updates, Password Resets, User Setups
- Troubleshooting networking issues
- Setting up other hardware including printers and other network devices
- Working on O365, Windows Server, Hyper-V, Azure Active Directory, MS Exchange, Microsoft Endpoint Manager and more
- Liaise closely with business and 3rd party solution providers.
- Assist with Implementing, configuring, and testing feasible solutions.
THE PERSON:
- Experience in IT Support would be a significant advantage, however, the business is open to training a technically savvy individual who has a genuine interest in IT
- Strong service experience, someone who is a natural communicator.
- Any experience of O365, Windows Server, Active Directory, 1st Line / 2nd Line Support would be an advantage.
- Any IT Focused qualifications would be an advantage
- Full driving licence required.
