As part of our commitment to talent development we are now accepting applications for you to join us as a Business Administration Modern Apprentice in the Customer Experience Team, based in our office in Uddingston.

What will you be doing?

The role holder will receive support and development to work towards and complete a Business Administration Modern Apprenticeship, this will involve on the job training and external assessment.

The role is to provide administrative support within the Customer Experience Team, in order to help drive the delivery of outstanding customer service.  Key accountabilities for the role include;

Managing our customer survey system; sending surveys to customers who have had an interaction with Scottish Water, and acting as a ‘super administrator’ to the survey platform.

Managing the Customer Experience team mailbox; responding to requests throughout the wider business.

Budget management; paying our suppliers and creating/updating budget tracking reports.

Reporting of key customer experience measures to the wider business, and supportingthe team with ad hoc analysis when necessary.

Stakeholder management; creating strong relationships to respond to any ad hoc customer experience related requests or queries.

Event planning support for both internal and external events; Coordinating volunteers, supporting with logistics etc.

Support with the creation of customer communication materials

The apprenticeship role is an 18 month fixed term position with working hours of 08:00-16:00. You will be based at Scottish Water’s office at Daldowie Treatment Works in Uddingston, Glasgow.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for people who are self-motivated, team players who are well organised, good problem solvers with a positive attitude and the ability to work on your own initiative. You’ll have five National 4 or 5 Qualifications (English, Maths and Science are advantageous but not essential) and a full UK driving licence (or currently be working to achieve this).

It is desirable that they have a good understanding of Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and a desire to learn new skills.
