Project Engineer / Electrical Project Manager required for an exciting permanent opportunity based in Hertfordshire.
Salary: £50,000pa
THE ROLE:
Project Engineer/Junior PM (Electrically Biased)
To provide site engineering duties to a number of projects within the region. The Site Engineer will establish the level and survey control for contracts and set out detailed works as per the contract designs and drawings, ensuring that checks are made on a regular basis. Design, co-ordination and installation of electrical installations at designated projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote client Rules and establish safe working cultures and practices.
Comply with company procedures and legal obligations.
Promote and comply with environmental compliance.
Deliver the work safely, to high standards and maintain quality, ensuring work is delivered defect free and in timely manner.
Production of all QA/QC documentation and Test Witnessing Commissioning Packs.
Promote best practice in the workplace.
Endeavour to spot and highlight value engineering opportunities.
Set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular basis.
Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time
Produce Daily Task Briefings.
Produce construction look ahead documentation for client issue.
Production of accurate records information, drawing registers and weekly diaries
Assist with the commercial team building site variations and quotations and help compile substantiation technically.
Attend weekly site engineering meetings to review upcoming work with project managers.
Production of Risk and Method Statements.
Carry out all initial surveys, production of reports and site audits for new opportunities.
Ordering any materials required by the supervisors.
Management of all health and safety site issues and upkeep of the health and safety files both physically and digitally. Ensuring Site audits and client health and safety returns are issued to NTT.
