Berry Recruitment in West Wickham are currently recruiting for a Lecturer in Sport and Public Services to work in a well known college in Bromley. You will be responsible for ensuring that students have a high quality learning experience to achieve the goal or qualification that they are studying for.

FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST HAVE AN ENHANCED DBS DATED WITHIN 3 YEARS

Immediate start

Monday to Friday 37 hours per week of which 24 hours per week are teaching

Salary £21-£22 per hour DOE

Responsibilities

– teaching, learning and assessment

– motivating students

– delivering the course programme

– updating student records

– monitor attendance

– making a significant contribution to curriculum development

– contribute to the development of students

– develop course materials – schemes of work, lesson plans etc

– teaching timetable of 864 hours annually

Desirable skills

– background in a similar role

– knowledge of Sports and Public Service curriculum

– good organisational skills

– excellent communication – written and verbal

– team player

– good administration skills

– working in a timely manner
