A fantastic opportunity is available for an enthusiastic, organised and knowledgeable H&S Manager working for our client across several sites. Reporting to the Board, this a ‘hands on’ role where you will visible and get involved with the ‘nuts and bolts’ and be a ‘practical’ individual.
You will be responsible for all the H&S across the Waste and Quarry/Aggregates dealing with trucks, plant and workshop.. The successful candidate will be able to take a company-wide view and pull together all the H&S regulations.
Ideal Candidate:
• Have Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate, (preferably NEBOSH Diploma level) within the Waste or Heavy Plant Industry
• Be a FULL Member of IOSH
• Interact with our Health & Safety Compliance Officer, so an understanding of ISO Compliance (90001, (phone number removed), (phone number removed)) would be an advantage
• Be Alert, Proactive and Self -Motivated
• Be able to keep calm in times of pressure as this is an extremely busy role
• Gain the trust and respect of all staff
