We are currently working with a leading contractor with a turnover of circa £100m and a strong presence delivering across sectors who are looking to engage with a M&E Project manager on a contract basis (CIS or Ltd) to deliver a notable £18m M&E shell and core and cat A project in West London.
Reporting to an operations director you will will have full autonomy to lead your project getting involved in a fast paced pre-construction phase before going to site next year to deliver to PC.
• Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant • Technical submittals • RFIs – Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub contractors • Value Engineering where applicable • Programming of works • Health & Safety management (RAMs) • Commercial Responsibility, assisting with sub contractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Survey. • Management of variations • Team Coordination (overseeing junior engineers, construction managers and supervisors) • Progress meetings with sub contractors, client and internal meetings • Overseeing commissioning stages • Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover
Sign off to pay a very attractive day rate and the opportunity to lead a talented team on an interesting project for a well respected main contractor.
