AUDIT & ACCOUNTS SENIOR / MANAGER – BEDFORD, BEDFORDSHIRE – JOB REF: JO35285

Accountancy Elite are excited to be working with a very well-established accountancy practice based in Bedford who serve businesses both nationally and internationally. This company are currently undergoing a period of substantial growth and are looking to expand their team.

The successful candidate for this role would be someone who is either ACA or ACCA qualified, ideally with 3+ years post-qualified experience. A minimum of 5 years UK Accountancy Practice experience is essential. Prior experience relevant to Audit and/or Accounts based work in Practice is also necessary.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Statutory Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
• Leading External Statutory Audits on behalf of clients.
• Full involvement in planning stages of both accounting and audit assignments.
• Supervision of Junior members of staff to support their development.
• A hands on approach to client work and creating quality relationships with new and existing clients.

Candidate Attributes:

• Either ACCA/ACA qualified, preferably with 3+ years post qualified experience.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Good all-round team-working skills with the ability to manage own deadlines.
• Previous experience managing a team would be preferred.
