We are currently recruiting on behalf of our well established client based in Lincoln for Trainee Quality Lab Technician. You would be working for a Surface Technology company.

This is a temporary, on going vacancy.

The shift pattern is:

  • Monday to Friday – Monday, rotating.
  • 6am – 2:30pm (Monday to Thursday and 6am – 12:30pm on Friday)
  • 1:30pm – 10pm (Monday to Thursday and 12pm – 6pm on Friday)

The role:

  • Ensuring that all inspection documentation is complete and that all details have been accurately recorded on outgoing certification is required in this role.
  • Monitoring strip line by means of chemical analysis, as well as analysing coatings using SEM and EDX will be part of this role
  • You will be preparing and evaluating various hardness samples and sectioning parts for optical/SEM analysis
  • Preparing and performing tensile tests
  • You will go through full training for this role
