Development Technician/ Assembly Fitter
Birmingham
Temp / Contract- 3 months (14 weeks)
Hours: 8-4.30 Mon- Thursday. 8-1 Friday
An opportunity for a Development Technician has arisen within the Engineering Department of a rapidly expanding automotive company.
Key Activities
- The role will involve building and recording data from new prototype assemblies.
- The candidates must have extensive experience of assembly and fitting of precision components and be capable of taking precision measurements, ideally having completed a craft or technician apprenticeship with relevant City and Guilds qualifications.
- Additionally, experience of operating test rigs and using instrumentation to record results is required.
- They must be capable of compiling data into spreadsheets in preparation for evaluation by the responsible Engineer.
- It is important the incoming technicians are good team workers with a positive attitude and are hard working.
