Full Time – Days: Mon- Thurs 7am – 4pm, Fri 7am – 1pm

Salary £12-£15 per hr negotiable DOE

Skillection are working with their Heckmondwike based engineering client assisting them in the recruitment of skilled Pipe Fitters for their business.

This is a full time, permanent, vacancy for a Pipe Fitter.

Successful candidates will be predominantly work from Heckmondwike however travel to various sites around the UK and occasionally working away will be necessary which will include overnight stays.

Overtime will be available but is dependent on workload.

Experience required:

  • Be able to read isometric drawings & P & IDs.
  • Select correct pipe and cut to length.
  • Prep pipework, bend pipework, add in valves and flanges etc….
  • Have a good understanding of pipework routes and able to measure accurately.
  • Work well as part of a team, but able to work with minimal supervision
  • CSCS Card or Safety Passport or similar
  • Industrial background preferred.
  • Full Driving licence required as driving company vehicles during working hours will be necessary.

Candidates will need to have the following:

  • An apprenticeship in Pipefitting or a time served Pipe Fitter
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role
