IT Network Engineer – Warrington – Occasional travel to London & Geneva – Up to £55,000 DOE
I am leading the recruitment for a revolutionary business who are transforming the way patients receive treatment for Cancer. They are going through a tremendous growth phase and in turn they are looking for an IT Network Engineer to join the team in their Warrington based office/manufacturing facility. The successful IT Network Engineer will be joining a company who truly care about their employees, where everyone has an input on how things should be done, they are a true advocate for a healthy work/life balance.
My client have been engaged by Hospitals and medical associations around the world to supply life changing cancer treatment equipment, this form of treatment reduces the side effects of traditional chemotherapy as well as reducing the risk of damaging healthy cells around the tumour.
The IT Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the critical IT infrastructure, taking ownership of designing and implementing server deployment projects, implementing virtual technologies such as VMware & Citrix. These will be large multi-site projects in a highly regulated industry, it is crucial you have worked in a highly regulated industry such as Medical, Financial or Defence. My client have further offices in London as well as their R&D site in Geneva, the IT Network Engineer will be required to travel between these sites post Covid-19. Travel and accommodation will be fully expensed, you will also not be required to spend weekends away.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Experience leading the design and implementation of large multi-site server/network deployments.
- Expert in technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory as well as virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Citrix.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry such as Medical or Financial and understanding the importance of auditing the network.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable mentoring a more junior IT Administrator throughout deployment and maintenance of the network.
- Ensure documentation is kept up to date on any changes/new deployments of the network.
