Our long standing client is an award-winning organisation offering support to individuals with drug and alcohol problems in a range of settings including detoxification and residential rehabilitation, recovery housing, social enterprises and community based therapeutic services. We work in partnership with We Are With You, and Stoke-on-Trent City Council to form the Community Drug and Alcohol Service (CDAS). We are recruiting staff for our new housing team working within our drug and alcohol service that will ensure our service users who have a number of housing needs, receive support to access and maintain suitable, stable accommodation whilst receiving high quality, recovery orientated and evidence based interventions to reduce harm and maximise opportunity for sustained health living

The successful candidate will have:

· Detailed knowledge of housing legislation and local tenancy support services.

· Experience of strong joint working arrangements with local housing options and housing services and provide tailored support around service users accommodation needs.

· Ability to provide intensive support to vulnerable high risk clients allocated within the CDAS core, rough sleepers and criminal justice teams.

· Ability to provide support to service users to maintain their tenancy.
