Recruit4staff are representing a well-established sheet metal manufacturing business in their search for a CAD Technician to work in Widnes.

Job Details:

• Pay: £32,000 per annum
• Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm, Friday half day
• Duration: Permanent

Job Role: As a CAD Technician, you will produce accurate technical drawings from customer orders to support the production team within a busy sheet metal manufacturing environment. The CAD Technician will re-qualify customer orders, create 2D and 3D drawings using RADAN software for customer authorisation, and deliver CAM files to the production department. This CAD Technician position requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to produce accurate technical drawings to customer specifications.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous CAD design experience
• Experience using CAD software, ideally supported by a relevant qualification
• Good mathematical skills
• Experience producing technical drawings
• Customer communication and order re-qualification experience
