Groundworks Gang – 2 x Groundworkers & 1 x Machine Driver (External Works)
Location: Beckton, London E6
Job Type: Contract / Self-employed (CIS) [or PAYE – amend as needed]
Pay: [£XXX per day – Groundworkers] / [£XXX per day – Machine Driver] / [or gang day rate]

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced groundworks gang to join us on a project in Beckton, carrying out external works and finishing packages. The ideal setup is an established gang of 2 groundworkers and 1 machine driver who are used to working together, but we’re also happy to hear from individuals.
The Work Includes
- External slabbing and paving
- Block paving (laying, cutting and compacting)
- Kerbs, edgings and associated groundworks
- Sub-base preparation and levelling
- Finishing works to a high standard
Requirements
- Proven experience in external works, block paving and slabbing
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Machine Driver: valid CPCS or NPORS ticket for [360 excavator / forward tipping dumper / other]
- Own hand tools
- Able to read drawings and work to levels
- Reliable, punctual and focused on quality finishes
- [Own PPE / PPE provided]
