Location: Letchworth
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00 – 16:30 & Friday 8:00 – 13:30
Basis: Permanent
Salary: Up to 26K (DOE)
Our well established client within the electronics industry are looking for a Production Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.
As a Production Technician, you will play a key role in delivering high quality electronic products through precise assembly and collaboration with engineering and production teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing, strong technical assembly skills, and an exceptional eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities as a Production Technician:
- Assembly of PCB boards, going by drawings given
- Wiring and cable assembly
- Soldering
- Mechanical build/assembly
- Surface mount assembly
- Quality inspection upon finalised production
- Product testing
The successful candidate will be:
- Experienced within the electronics industry, with soldering, assembly and wiring skills
- JSTD-001 Qualified (desired)
- Computer literate
- Able to work well both within a team and independently
- A proactive individual with a positive approach
