This is an excellent opportunity to join an established engineering and service operation, where you\u2019ll play a key role in coordinating field-based engineers, managing service schedules and ensuring customers receive an excellent level of service.<\/p>\n<p>If you thrive in a busy environment, enjoy juggling multiple priorities and have a natural talent for organisation, we\u2019d love to hear from you!<\/p>\n<p>As Service Planner, you\u2019ll be responsible for coordinating engineer schedules, organising customer visits and ensuring service activities are completed efficiently and on time.<\/p>\n<p>Your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planning and scheduling field service engineers\u2019 workloads, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.\n<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating service visits with customers, arranging appointments and keeping everyone informed of progress.\n<\/li>\n<li>Managing work orders from initial booking through to completion, monitoring progress and resolving scheduling issues.\n<\/li>\n<li>Responding to changing priorities, adapting schedules and finding practical solutions to minimise disruption.\n<\/li>\n<li>Supporting engineers by ensuring they have the necessary job information, documentation and equipment.\n<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining accurate records across business systems, including SAP and SPIRIT.\n<\/li>\n<li>Working collaboratively with customers, engineers and internal departments to deliver a smooth and efficient service.\n<\/li>\n<li>Providing excellent customer service, handling enquiries professionally and keeping customers updated.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We\u2019re keen to hear from candidates with experience in <strong>planning, scheduling, logistics coordination or service administration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You could currently be working as a:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Service Planner or Service Scheduler\n<\/li>\n<li>Engineering Coordinator or Maintenance Planner\n<\/li>\n<li>Field Service Coordinator\n<\/li>\n<li>Operations Coordinator or Planning Administrator\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You\u2019ll ideally have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities.\n<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with customers, engineers and colleagues.\n<\/li>\n<li>A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to react quickly when plans change.\n<\/li>\n<li>Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and SAP\n<\/li>\n<li>A customer-focused attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience using SAP or similar planning systems, or working within engineering, technical services or logistics, would be advantageous.
