Assistant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ascent Recruitment is working with a fantastic, well-established business in Manchester that is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join its friendly and supportive finance team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent.<\/p>\n<p>This is a varied role with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, alongside supporting the wider finance team with general accounts duties.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing all aspects of the Accounts Payable process<\/li>\n<li>Processing supplier invoices and payments<\/li>\n<li>Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries<\/li>\n<li>Supporting month-end processes<\/li>\n<li>Assisting the wider finance team with general accounting and administrative duties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We&#8217;re Looking For:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous Accounts Payable \/ Purchase Ledger experience is essential<\/li>\n<li>Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>A positive, flexible approach and willingness to support the wider team<\/li>\n<li><strong>Immediately available or able to start within 2 weeks<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s On Offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a330,000\u2013\u00a331,000 salary<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid
