schools?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are working with a number of <strong>secondary schools across Waltham Forest<\/strong> that are looking for reliable, confident and experienced <strong>Cover Supervisors<\/strong> to provide daily supply cover.<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young people, have strong classroom management skills and are looking for flexible work that fits around their availability.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you are looking for <strong>full-time daily supply, a few days per week or occasional bookings<\/strong>, we would love to hear from you!<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidates will supervise classes across <strong>Key Stages 3 and 4<\/strong>, delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher and ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their learning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervising classes across <strong>Key Stages 3 and 4<\/strong> in the absence of the regular teacher<\/li>\n<li>Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students complete the work set<\/li>\n<li>Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment<\/li>\n<li>Supporting students with their learning and answering general questions<\/li>\n<li>Encouraging students to remain focused, engaged and motivated<\/li>\n<li>Following school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management<\/li>\n<li>Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons<\/li>\n<li>Working across a variety of subjects and year groups<\/li>\n<li>Building positive relationships with students and school staff<\/li>\n<li>Adapting confidently to different school environments and classroom settings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Ideal Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school<\/li>\n<li>Experience as a <strong>Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor or in a similar school-based role<\/strong> would be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Confident managing groups of secondary-aged students<\/li>\n<li>Strong classroom management and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Calm, resilient and able to manage challenging behaviour<\/li>\n<li>Flexible, reliable and adaptable to different school environments<\/li>\n<li>Able to follow lesson plans and school procedures effectively<\/li>\n<li>A positive and proactive approach to supporting young people<\/li>\n<li>Passionate about education and helping students achieve their
