You will initially focus on using a mix of 3D CAD and AutoCAD to produce accurate drawings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Producing 3D models and engineering drawings<\/li>\n<li>Adapting existing product designs to suit bespoke customer requirements<\/li>\n<li>Preparing drawings for customers and our production team<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing project requirements and identifying practical design solutions<\/li>\n<li>Considering manufacturing methods, cost and production time when developing designs<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with experienced engineers to resolve technical challenges<\/li>\n<li>Updating drawings and maintaining accurate technical documentation<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with our manufacturing team to ensure designs can be produced effectively<\/li>\n<li>Supporting design improvements and problem-solving activities<\/li>\n<li>Taking on increasingly complex projects as your skills and experience develop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>You will ideally have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline<\/li>\n<li>Experience using 3D CAD software through university projects, placements or employment<\/li>\n<li>A good understanding of engineering drawings and mechanical design principles<\/li>\n<li>An interest in manufacturing and practical engineering<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>The ability to consider different solutions to an engineering challenge<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team<\/li>\n<li>A proactive approach and willingness to learn from experienced engineers<\/li>\n<li>The ability to organise your workload and work to project deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you&#8217;re a Mechanical Engineering graduate looking to develop your design skills and see your work progress from drawing to manufacture, we&#8217;d like to hear from you.
