The purpose of the role is to manage the legal process of Residential Property transactions, primarily the sale of new- build homes and the part exchange properties \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll do as a Conveyancer <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reporting to the company Solicitor heading the Plot Team<\/li>\n<li>Managing and running plot sales, part exchanges and purchases for such group companies that are designated to you<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that the caseload is managed and conducted efficiently to achieve exchanges within the required timescales<\/li>\n<li>Preparing individual plot documentation and manage the transfer of the lease process to facilitate accurate and efficient legal completion<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with part exchange transactions \u2013 title checking and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Conduct title checks and report on part exchange transactions to identify risks and support informed decision making<\/li>\n<li>You will build relationships with purchaser\u2019s solicitors, and the Group Legal Department and regional operating companies<\/li>\n<li>Attending meetings with the sales team to review caseload<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with post completion matters such as SDLT returns and land Registration where necessary<\/li>\n<li>Advising and assisting on issues which arise during plot sales and part exchange transactions and where appropriate, dealing with plot sales and part exchange transactions<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with lease\/transfer variations and reversion sales<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with the recovery of retentions (non-litigious)<\/li>\n<li>Carrying our AML checks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will be an experienced and motivated\u00a0<strong>Conveyancer or Fee Earner<\/strong>\u00a0able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of\u00a0<strong>Residential Conveyancing<\/strong>, practice, and procedure<\/li>\n<li>Qualification through the Institute of Legal Executives, Council of Licensed Conveyancers or to at least degree level in law would be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience of handling plot sales for a residential house builder (either in house or in private practice) would be a distinct advantage<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidate will be able to work with modern computer-based technology<\/li>\n<li>You will be self-motivated, adaptable , have good team and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Company Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>21 day\u2019s annual leave plus\u00a0Bank Holiday\u2019s, plus 3 days\u2019 given for Christmas closure<\/li>\n<li>Life Cover &amp; Contributory Pension<\/li>\n<li>Company Bonus<\/li>\n<li>Bupa Private Health<\/li>\n<li>Employee Benefits Platform \u2013 Giving you access to \u2013 buying a new home at a discounted price<\/li>\n<li>Share save scheme<\/li>\n<li>Potential for progression and support with qualifications<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid working up to two days per week working from home after probation period<\/li>\n<li>Onsite Parking<\/li>\n<li>Monday to Friday 9am \u2013 5pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apply Now.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0If you feel this is the right opportunity for you, Contact Julie Sheridan at JS Legal Recruitment Ltd, quoting reference \u00a0JSL2403 OR email now your cv or call for a confidential discussion .<\/p>\n<p>For more information on other vacancies JS Legal recruitment Ltd are handling please visit our website.<\/p>\n<p>All successful applications will be responded to within 7 working days.
