Experienced Deputy Manager&nbsp;ready to step up into a Registered Manager will also considered<\/p>\n<p><b>You will be responsible for:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing effective leadership and direction to the care team.<\/li>\n<li>Building positive, trusting relationships with young people and supporting their individual needs.<\/li>\n<li>Encouraging participation in educational, recreational, occupational and social activities.<\/li>\n<li>Developing and reviewing personalised care plans and programmes to support individual development.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping staff informed of daily plans, priorities and individual support needs.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the induction of newly admitted young people.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing care records and associated documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting recruitment, staff training, performance management and ongoing professional development.<\/li>\n<li>Managing activity-related funds appropriately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>The&nbsp;candidates&nbsp;from&nbsp;the&nbsp;following&nbsp;background&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;considered:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registered Manager, Deputy manager, Home Manager, Homecare manager,&nbsp;Registered Care Manager,&nbsp;Registered Home&nbsp;Manager,&nbsp;Deputy care manager,&nbsp;Deputy home manager, Assistant Manager,&nbsp;Care Manager,&nbsp;Assistant Home Manager,&nbsp;Assistant Care Manager or in a similar role.<\/li>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p><b>What we are looking for:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approx 2 years of experience working within a residential childcare setting.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supervising and leading a team.<\/li>\n<li>A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People or an equivalent qualification.<\/li>\n<li>Background in developing and implementing personalised care plans.<\/li>\n<li>Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare &#8211;&nbsp;working towards or willing to undertake.Enhanced DBS check.<\/li>\n<li>Right to work in the UK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What&rsquo;s on offer:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary<\/li>\n<li>Company pension <\/li>\n<li>Free parking<\/li>\n<li>Casual dress<\/li>\n<li>Free Enhanced DBS check<\/li>\n<li>Paid induction training and ongoing training within the role<\/li>\n<li>Dedicated learning and development programs<\/li>\n<li>Access to a wide range of free on-line courses for all staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Manager \/&nbsp;Deputy Manager ready to step up, seeking a rewarding role within a supportive children&rsquo;s home environment.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><em>Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
