{"id":63672,"date":"2026-09-12T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-09-11T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.desiblitz.com\/jobs\/job\/parts-advisor\/"},"modified":"2026-09-12T02:57:38","modified_gmt":"2026-09-12T01:57:38","slug":"parts-advisor","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.desiblitz.com\/jobs\/job\/parts-advisor\/","title":{"rendered":"Parts Advisor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Introduction <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join our Volkswagen Dealership in Coventry<strong>.<\/strong> The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Salary includes a basic salary plus a monthly bonus, with an OTE of \u00a333,000.<\/p>\n<p>A Parts Advisor is a key role interacting with all areas of the business including sales, service and our customers. You will be directly involved in supplying Volkswagen<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>parts to the general public, trade customers and our own workshops. This role would perfectly suit a highly \u2013 motivated individual with experience and a passion for providing exceptional levels of customer service for one of the world\u2019s leading car brands.<\/p>\n<p>This is an exceptional opportunity for the successful individual to develop, learn and forge a career within parts with Listers<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Role and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The work is diverse, and you\u2019ll be working both behind the scenes receiving deliveries and at the front desk serving our customers.<\/li>\n<li>You will be responsible for pre-picking parts for the workshop job cards, picking parts for customer orders and checking availability of stock from various enquiries.<\/li>\n<li>Through in-bound and out-bound telephone enquiries, walk in customers, and internet enquiries you will be developing customer relationships through providing good product knowledge and creating an effective first impression.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring consumables and service parts are regularly replenished providing a swift service to our workshop and other departments as well as our trade\/retail customers.<\/li>\n<li>Handles warranty claims processing (relating to parts issues) and completes all relevant administration promptly and accurately (including customer records and invoicing).<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ll develop knowledge of our premium Volkswagen products to understand the purpose of vehicle parts and how they function.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About you<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for someone with previous experience working as a parts advisor within a dealership or you will have gained motor factor knowledge in a similar role with another franchise or specialist parts company.<\/li>\n<li>However, if you have a good understanding of cars &amp; the ability to learn, we are happy to train the right candidate.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers.<\/li>\n<li>You should be proactive; sales driven and maintain an outstanding level of customer service.<\/li>\n<li>You must have excellent communication &amp; organisational skills while working well in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>A professional individual who is able to work towards tight deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>25 days holiday plus bank holidays<\/li>\n<li>Company Pension<\/li>\n<li>Wellness Programme<\/li>\n<li>Sick Pay<\/li>\n<li>Group life insurance<\/li>\n<li>Staff discount on car servicing<\/li>\n<li>Listers Benefits \u2013 discounts on retailers, restaurants, cinemas &amp; holidays<\/li>\n<li>Long service and loyalty incentives<\/li>\n<li>Staff referral scheme<\/li>\n<li>In-house, manufacturer &amp; professional qualifications<\/li>\n<li>Company Events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Listers?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Founded in 1979, Listers Group stands as one of the largest privately and family-owned motor retailer groups in the UK.
