{"id":63599,"date":"2026-09-10T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.desiblitz.com\/jobs\/job\/nursery-manager-deputy-manager\/"},"modified":"2026-09-10T00:38:00","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T23:38:00","slug":"nursery-manager-deputy-manager","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.desiblitz.com\/jobs\/job\/nursery-manager-deputy-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"Nursery Manager \/ Deputy Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An opportunity has arisen for a <b>Nursery Manager \/ Deputy Manager<\/b> to join a childcare provider offering quality early years education, with a focus on EYFS development, outdoor learning and Forest School activities.<\/p>\n<p>As a <b>Nursery Manager \/ Deputy Manager<\/b>, you will be deading the nursery&#039;s day-to-day operation, supporting the team and ensuring high standards of care, learning and development.<\/p>\n<p>This full-time permanent role offers&nbsp;a salary range of &pound;35,000 &#8211; &pound;42,000 which is negotiable for the right candidate and benefits.<\/p>\n<p><b>We are looking for two Nursery Managers, with one position available at each of our Hampshire locations.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>You will be responsible for: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overseeing the daily running of the nursery and maintaining effective operational procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Managing staff rotas, team supervision and ongoing development plans.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the delivery of room-based care and maintaining high standards of practice.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring health and safety requirements are consistently met.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring children&#039;s development and maintaining accurate records through the nursery&#039;s systems.<\/li>\n<li>Building positive relationships with parents, colleagues and the wider nursery community.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting and promoting outdoor learning and Forest School approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>The&nbsp;candidates&nbsp;from&nbsp;the&nbsp;following&nbsp;background&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;considered:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, Childcare Manager, EYFS Manager, Early Years Manager,&nbsp;Nursery Deputy Manager,&nbsp;Deputy Nursery Manager,&nbsp;Nursery Supervisor or in a similar role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What we are looking for<\/b>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approx. 3 years of Nursery and childcare management experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven leadership experience of 1 year within a nursery or early years setting.<\/li>\n<li>A Level 3 Early Years qualification, Early Years degree or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). <\/li>\n<li>An interest in Forest School and outdoor learning.<\/li>\n<li>A full UK driving licence and a valid DBS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What&#039;s on offer<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive Salary <\/li>\n<li>Generous annual leave, with additional leave available.<\/li>\n<li>Paid time off for your birthday.<\/li>\n<li>Free onsite parking.<\/li>\n<li>Free hot lunches or discounted food.<\/li>\n<li>Employee discount.<\/li>\n<li>Company pension.<\/li>\n<li>Company events.<\/li>\n<li>Sick pay.<\/li>\n<li>Company uniform.<\/li>\n<li>Ongoing mentoring and training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>This is a great opportunity for a Nursery Manager to join a supportive childcare environment and make a real contribution to the children&#039;s day-to-day experience. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><em>Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
