And the opportunity to help shape what comes next.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Continued growth has created a new Assistant Management Accountant position within a successful North East business.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than stepping into an established role, you&#8217;ll have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas, improve processes and develop your management accounting experience.<\/p>\n<p>Why this role?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brand-new position with the opportunity to help shape how things are done<\/li>\n<li>A genuine step up from a transactional finance role<\/li>\n<li>Greater exposure to management accounts and month-end<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to improve and implement finance processes<\/li>\n<li>Real scope to grow: As the business continues to expand, there&#8217;s opportunity for your role and responsibilities to develop with it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What you&#8217;ll be doing<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting monthly management accounts and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Balance sheet and ledger reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Sales ledger<\/li>\n<li>Journals, accruals and prepayments<\/li>\n<li>Cash flow and financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and implementing process improvements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Who we&#8217;re looking for<\/p>\n<p>You may currently be a Finance Assistant or Assistant Accountant who&#8217;s ready for more exposure and responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll ideally have good transactional finance experience, some exposure to month-end and strong Excel skills.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re equally open to candidates who are AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT, and those who have developed their knowledge and accounting experience through their career.
