This role offers excellent flexibility with day-to-day supply, long-term placements, and opportunities for temporary-to-permanent positions within primary settings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>As a Nursery \/ EYFS Assistant, you will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the class teacher by delivering a wide range of stimulating and engaging activities.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare the classroom for lessons, including setting up and tidying resources each day.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise children during break and lunchtime, ensuring safe and happy play.<\/li>\n<li>Assist children in learning through play, engaging through observation, interaction, and guided play.<\/li>\n<li>Work with individual pupils or small groups to support speaking &amp; listening, reading, writing, and Maths.<\/li>\n<li>Promote the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of all children.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in staff meetings and contribute to planning discussions.<\/li>\n<li>Attend relevant training, courses, and CPD opportunities for professional development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To be successful in this role, you should have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adaptability to support both short-term and long-term placements.<\/li>\n<li>A genuine passion for inspiring young learners.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in an early years or children&#8217;s setting (desirable but not essential).<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to complete safeguarding checks &mdash; all staff must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
