The successful candidate will need to be highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.<br \/>You will work closely with customers, engineers, suppliers and colleagues across the business, helping to ensure jobs run smoothly and efficiently.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scheduling jobs and coordinating engineers&#8217; daily workloads.<\/li>\n<li>Managing customer enquiries by telephone and email.<\/li>\n<li>Booking, rearranging and confirming customer appointments.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing, sending and following up customer quotations.<\/li>\n<li>Responding to online leads and new enquiries.<\/li>\n<li>Ordering parts and materials and liaising with suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring outstanding jobs and ensuring appropriate follow-up.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining accurate customer and job records.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with engineers to ensure they have the information and materials required to complete their work.<\/li>\n<li>Managing competing priorities and responding effectively to urgent requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring jobs are progressed efficiently from booking through to completion.<\/li>\n<li>Providing general administrative support to the Operations team.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills &amp; Experience<br \/>\nEssential<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in an office, administration, coordination or customer service role.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organisational and time-management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>A professional and confident telephone manner.<\/li>\n<li>Good computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.<\/li>\n<li>A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Reliable, dependable and committed to maintaining a high standard of work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desirable<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience within plumbing, heating, construction, maintenance or another service-based industry.<\/li>\n<li>Experience coordinating engineers, technicians or field-based staff.<\/li>\n<li>Experience preparing customer quotations.<\/li>\n<li>Experience ordering parts or materials.<\/li>\n<li>Experience using scheduling, CRM or job-management software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Person<br \/>\nWe are looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in keeping things organised and running smoothly.<br \/>You will be a natural problem-solver who can remain calm under pressure, manage changing priorities and communicate effectively with a wide range of people.<br \/>The ideal candidate will be organised, dependable, proactive and customer-focused, with the confidence to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.<br \/>Previous industry experience would be advantageous, but it is not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, strong organisational skills and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.<br \/>\nWhat We
