Our focus is on empowering independence, building confidence and life skills, and supporting people to live fulfilling lives in environments that best suit their needs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Service \u2013 Huntsman Lodge\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Huntsman Lodge is a Supported Living service which provides care and support for people with learning disabilities and\/or autistic spectrum disorder who enjoy a wide range of hobbies from Bowling and Swimming to Dance and Music.,<br \/>There is easy access to public transport and it is close to local shops.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Service User Interests<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, and Support Workers play a vital role in enabling these experiences, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arts and crafts<\/li>\n<li>Days out such as Theme Parks, Meals out, Social activities, Christmas markets etc.<\/li>\n<li>Holidays and short breaks<\/li>\n<li>Walks in the local park and community<\/li>\n<li>Cooking and baking to develop life skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans<\/li>\n<li>Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required<\/li>\n<li>Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing<\/li>\n<li>Support activities, appointments, and community access<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team<\/li>\n<li>Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who We\u2019re Looking For<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Willingness to work towards Health &amp; Social qualification\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota
