The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining a range of fencing systems across different sites.<\/p>\n<p>This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone with construction or fencing experience who is comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install and erect various types of fencing, including timber, steel, concrete, mesh and security fencing.<\/li>\n<li>Measure and accurately mark out fence lines according to drawings, specifications and site requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Dig post holes manually or using mechanical equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Set and secure fence posts using concrete, Postcrete or other suitable materials.<\/li>\n<li>Install fence panels, rails, boards, gates and associated fixings.<\/li>\n<li>Cut and adapt fencing materials to suit different ground conditions and site layouts.<\/li>\n<li>Install gates, locks, hinges and other access-control components where required.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out repairs, replacements and maintenance to existing fencing.<\/li>\n<li>Safely operate hand tools, power tools and relevant site machinery.<\/li>\n<li>Read and work from site plans, drawings and specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards and tolerances.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area.<\/li>\n<li>Follow all site health and safety procedures, risk assessments and method statements.<\/li>\n<li>Wear appropriate PPE at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with supervisors, site managers and other trades on site.<\/li>\n<li>Load, unload and safely transport fencing materials and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and report damaged materials, unsafe conditions or site issues.<\/li>\n<li>Complete work within agreed timescales and to customer\/client specifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key Skills &amp; Experience<\/p>\n<p>Previous fencing or practical construction experience is preferred.<\/p>\n<p>Good knowledge and safe use of hand and power tools.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Good level of physical fitness.<\/p>\n<p>Strong attention to detail.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to follow instructions and work to specifications.<\/p>\n<p>Good teamwork and communication skills.<\/p>\n<p>Reliable, hardworking and punctual.<\/p>\n<p>Strong commitment to health and safety.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/p>\n<p>Valid CSCS card &#8211; beneficial but not
