As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we can offer you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Company bonus: Up to \u00a32,500 (based on company performance and will vary year to year)<\/li>\n<li>Pension: maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%<\/li>\n<li>Overtime:\u00a0opportunity for paid overtime<\/li>\n<li>Flexi Leave:\u00a0Up to 15 additional days<\/li>\n<li>Flexible working:\u00a0We welcome applicants who are looking for flexible working arrangements<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced parental leave:\u00a0offers up to 26 weeks for maternity, adoption and shared parental leave -enhancements are available for paternity leave, neonatal leave and fertility testing and treatments<\/li>\n<li>Facilities: Fantastic site facilities including subsidised meals, free car parking and much more\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The opportunity:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Mechanical Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for carrying out the production, repair and modification of company products to meet defined build standards and specification requirements.\u00a0 You will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Be fully conversant with all equipment, tools and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure manufacturing build, inspection, and where relevant, inspection times are met.<\/li>\n<li>Check and complete all required manufacturing data requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and product quality.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.<\/li>\n<li>Certify the product in line with the product certification procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe working environment.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a good housekeeping policy.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate best practice to other team members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for from you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u200b<strong>Qualifications required (all of the below):<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Mechanical or Electrical Engineering \/ Manufacturing Apprenticeship (Advanced Level or L3 Standard)<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical or Electrical Engineering \/ Manufacturing Level 3 academic qualification (ONC, diploma, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical or Electrical Engineering \/ Manufacturing Level 3 vocational qualification (NVQ)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A team player who is able to demonstrate customer focus.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Proven planning and organisational skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Flexible and adaptable approach<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Our company: Peace is not a given, Freedom is not a given, Sovereignty is not a given<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MBDA is a leading defence organisation.\u00a0 We are proud of the role we play in supporting the Armed Forces who protect our nations.
