{"id":62739,"date":"2026-08-18T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-08-17T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.desiblitz.com\/jobs\/job\/manufacturing-engineer-machine-shop\/"},"modified":"2026-08-18T02:19:55","modified_gmt":"2026-08-18T01:19:55","slug":"manufacturing-engineer-machine-shop","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.desiblitz.com\/jobs\/job\/manufacturing-engineer-machine-shop\/","title":{"rendered":"Manufacturing Engineer \/ Machine Shop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Role: Manufacturing Engineer \/ Machine Shop \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <strong>Type: Permanent, Full Time<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <strong>Hours: Onsite \u2013 37.5 hours per week<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <strong>Salary:<\/strong> <strong>\u00a335,000 &#8211;<\/strong> <strong>\u00a340,000 per annum + Benefits \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <strong>Location: Leicester \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> \u00a0<\/p>\n<p> Owen Daniels are supporting a leading manufacturing company, and we are looking for a<strong> <\/strong><strong>Manufacturing Engineer \/ Machine Shop <\/strong>to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business.<\/p>\n<p> \u00a0<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Manufacturing Engineer \/ Machine Shop \u2013 Key responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with machine shop teams, applying strong knowledge of CNC, manual machining, grinding and other manufacturing processes.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with design engineers to develop new products and prototypes using Design for Manufacture principles.<\/li>\n<li>Use SolidWorks CAD\/CAM to design tooling and fixtures while providing technical support to production teams.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and implement new machinery, equipment and processes.<\/li>\n<li>Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects to improve quality, efficiency and processes while reducing costs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Manufacturing Engineer \/ Machine Shop &#8211;
