This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to play a key part in creating a positive experience for students from the moment they secure accommodation through to the end of their stay.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re highly organised, enjoy problem solving, and thrive in a busy customer focused environment, I&#8217;d love to hear from you!!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As Deputy Student Accommodation Office Manager, you&#8217;ll support the day to day management of the accommodation office, ensuring an outstanding service is delivered to students and residents throughout the accommodation cycle.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll oversee accommodation allocations, help maximise occupancy, coordinate student arrivals, manage communications, and ensure processes run smoothly while supporting and motivating the team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the day to day management of the Student Accommodation Office.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver a professional, friendly and efficient customer experience.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate accommodation allocations and maintain high occupancy levels.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor tenancy compliance and assist with rent arrears procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate accommodation records, reports and performance data.<\/li>\n<li>Update accommodation systems, room information and rental charges.<\/li>\n<li>Manage student arrivals, registrations and welcome events.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate property viewings and support recruitment\/open day events.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with internal departments to ensure a smooth student journey.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain website content and student communications.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure policies, procedures and legal requirements are followed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About You<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m looking for someone who has:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in an office management, accommodation, property, or customer service environment looking for a step up.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organisational and administrative skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills with the confidence to deal with a wide range of people.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work using their own initiative.<\/li>\n<li>Experience using databases or booking systems.<\/li>\n<li>A positive, proactive, and solution focused approach.<\/li>\n<li>Previous supervisory or team leadership experience would be advantageous, but not essential.<\/li>\n<li>Used to a very fast paced environment, able to keep calm under pressure, and take full responsibility when the manager is on leave<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Perks:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Free meals<\/p>\n<p>Uniform provided<\/p>\n<p>20 days holiday plus bank holidays<\/p>\n<p>Free Parking<\/p>\n<p>Pension Scheme<\/p>\n<p>Employee retail discount scheme<\/p>\n<p>In return, you&#8217;ll work with a\u00a0friendly, supportive manager, an employer that genuinely looks after its staff, and a varied role with real responsibility and autonomy.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking for a role where you&#8217;ll be part of a genuinely supportive team and work for an organisation that values its employees, we&#8217;d love to hear from you.
