Our client has grown rapidly and now provides a variety of services to clients. The successful Ecologist will work closely alongside the ecology team in <strong>Solihull<\/strong>, assisting with protected species surveys across the Midlands.<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Ecologist to join an employee-focused company, that offers extensive career progression opportunities and exposure to a variety of projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ecologist Position Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undertaking protected species surveys<\/li>\n<li>Helping to build&nbsp;tenders and helping to create&nbsp;fee quotations<\/li>\n<li>Producing technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Managing small-medium-sized projects and some large-sized projects with assistance if needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ecologist Position Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3-8+ years&nbsp;of industry experience<\/li>\n<li>Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field<\/li>\n<li>1 protected species license (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Hold a full UK driving license<\/li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and the understanding of how to apply them correctly<\/li>\n<li>Chartered Institute of Ecology &amp; Environmental Management is preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ecologist Position Remuneration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary, ranging between &pound;34,000 &#8211; &pound;44,000 depending on experience<\/li>\n<li>23 days holiday, plus bank holidays and the opportunity to buy more<\/li>\n<li>Generous pension scheme<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid working, or fully remote<\/li>\n<li>TOIL<\/li>\n<li>Progression and training opportunities &#8211; generous CPD budget<\/li>\n<li>Other benefits to be discussed at the interview stage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are eager to seize this opportunity or wish to explore other roles, click &quot;Apply Now&quot; or get in touch with Tim Joannides at Pebble Recruitment.<\/p>\n<p>I<strong>nterested?
