The role involves working closely with Production Planning, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure accurate vehicle configurations and manufacturing data validation prior to production build phases.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support <strong>production planning and production control activities<\/strong> for vehicle build programs.<\/li>\n<li>Configure, validate, and maintain manufacturing data and vehicle configurations before production builds.<\/li>\n<li>Perform root cause analysis for production, configuration, and manufacturing data-related issues.<\/li>\n<li>Identify, analyze, and resolve data discrepancies impacting production readiness.<\/li>\n<li>Work with multiple systems and databases to manage product and manufacturing information.<\/li>\n<li>Collect, analyze, and interpret production and manufacturing data to support decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports, track issues, and drive corrective actions using strong analytical methods.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and production teams to ensure smooth build execution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in <strong>Production Planning and\/or Production Control Systems<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Strong hands-on experience in Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, error identification, validation, and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with manufacturing systems and configuration management processes.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of automotive manufacturing and production processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Product 42 Database.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of DSA Prodis.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to End-of-Line (EOL) manufacturing or testing processes.<\/li>\n<li>Basic programming or scripting skills (Python, VBA, SQL, etc.) would be an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":61622,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"North West","_application":"https:\/\/www.cv-library.co.uk\/job\/225388095\/Production-Planner-and-Controller-Automotive?s=103904","_company_name":"Onward Technologies Limited","_company_website":"https:\/\/www.cv-library.co.uk\/list-jobs\/301071\/Onward-Technologies-Limited","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[66,682,3,685,4],"job_listing_tag":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Production Planner and Controller (Automotive) | DESIblitz Jobs<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/www.desiblitz.com\/jobs\/job\/production-planner-and-controller-automotive\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_GB\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Production Planner and Controller (Automotive) | DESIblitz Jobs\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Job Title: Production 42 Engineer &#8211;
