This is a hands-on role where you&#8217;ll lead a small team, work closely with customers and colleagues, and help keep the wider business running efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>What You&#8217;ll Be Doing<\/p>\n<p>As Stores Supervisor, you&#8217;ll be responsible for a varied workload including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading, supporting and organising the day-to-day activities of the stores team.<\/li>\n<li>Speaking with customers, taking orders and providing updates on stock availability.<\/li>\n<li>Ordering spare parts and ensuring stock levels are maintained.<\/li>\n<li>Booking in deliveries and managing goods coming in and out of the stores.<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out regular stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.<\/li>\n<li>Using the company&#8217;s stock management system to process stock movements and adjustments.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating supplier deliveries and resolving any issues quickly and professionally.<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with internal departments to make sure materials are available when needed.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, organisation and health &amp; safety.<\/li>\n<li>Looking for ways to improve processes and help the stores run more efficiently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What We&#8217;re Looking For<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll ideally have experience in a similar stores, warehouse or stock control role and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for someone who has:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience supervising or leading a small team.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of stock control and inventory management.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Confidence using stock management or ERP systems.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.<\/li>\n<li>A practical, hands-on attitude with a willingness to get involved.<\/li>\n<li>A strong understanding of health and safety within a warehouse or stores environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience within manufacturing, engineering or technical distribution would be an advantage, but isn&#8217;t essential.<\/p>\n<p>About the Company<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll be joining a long-established and successful business with a reputation for quality, reliability and excellent customer service.
