This isn&#8217;t just about moving boxes \u2013 you&#8217;ll play a key part in making sure stock is where it needs to be, when it needs to be, helping both colleagues and customers keep things moving.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll be part of a small team where everyone chips in, your ideas are welcomed, and your work makes a real difference every day.<\/p>\n<p>What You&#8217;ll Be Doing<\/p>\n<p>No two days are exactly the same, but you&#8217;ll spend your time:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Receiving deliveries and checking goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.<\/li>\n<li>Booking stock into the system accurately.<\/li>\n<li>Organising and storing products so they&#8217;re easy to find and correctly rotated.<\/li>\n<li>Picking and issuing parts and materials for internal teams and customer orders.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping inventory records up to date using the company&#8217;s stock control system.<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out regular stock checks and helping investigate any discrepancies.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping the stores area clean, tidy and safe.<\/li>\n<li>Speaking with colleagues and customers about stock availability and order updates.<\/li>\n<li>Looking for ways to improve processes and make the stores run even more efficiently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What We Are Looking For<\/p>\n<p>You don&#8217;t need to tick every box, but you&#8217;ll probably have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good communication skills and enjoy working with others.<\/li>\n<li>Confidence using computers and entering information accurately.<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.<\/li>\n<li>Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload.<\/li>\n<li>A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to carry out the physical aspects of a stores role safely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It would be useful, but isn&#8217;t essential, if you&#8217;ve worked with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stock management or computer systems.<\/li>\n<li>Barcode scanners or stock control technology.<\/li>\n<li>Manufacturing, engineering or distribution environments.<\/li>\n<li>Basic warehouse health and safety procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>About the Company<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll be joining a long-established and stable business with a reputation for looking after its customers and investing in its people.
