supportive working environment.<\/p>\n<p>Due to continued growth, they&#8217;re looking to appoint an experienced Aerospace Operations Account Manager to join their Heathrow team.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As an Aerospace Account Manager, you&#8217;ll take ownership of a portfolio of aerospace customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery while developing long-term relationships with both clients and supply chain partners.<\/p>\n<p>Working closely with the senior aerospace leadership team, you&#8217;ll play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the aerospace division, identifying commercial opportunities and ensuring shipments are managed efficiently from quotation through to final delivery.<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining operational expertise with customer relationship management in a fast-paced, specialist logistics environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage a portfolio of aerospace customers, delivering exceptional customer service.<\/li>\n<li>Build and strengthen relationships with clients, airlines, carriers and overseas partners.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate shipments from initial enquiry through to successful completion.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and follow up customer quotations.<\/li>\n<li>Select the most appropriate carriers and routing solutions to maximise service levels and profitability.<\/li>\n<li>Work alongside the senior aerospace management team to support business growth.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure supplier costs are accurately maintained and managed.<\/li>\n<li>Complete weekly and monthly operational and financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Support out-of-hours customer requirements as part of a team rota.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business within the aerospace sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About You<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be successful, you&#8217;ll ideally have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience within aerospace freight forwarding.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of aerospace supply chains and time-critical logistics.<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing customer accounts within freight forwarding.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of customs procedures relating to aerospace shipments.<\/li>\n<li>Experience handling air freight and road freight movements (ocean freight knowledge would be advantageous but training can be provided).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s on
