{"id":60797,"date":"2026-05-23T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.desiblitz.com\/jobs\/job\/legal-secretary-residential-conveyancing\/"},"modified":"2026-05-23T21:54:19","modified_gmt":"2026-05-23T20:54:19","slug":"legal-secretary-residential-conveyancing","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.desiblitz.com\/jobs\/job\/legal-secretary-residential-conveyancing\/","title":{"rendered":"Legal Secretary &#8211; Residential Conveyancing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced full-time Legal Secretary to join their residential conveyancing team.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team where you will play a key role in providing full secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, assisting with various aspects of their caseload, and undertaking a wide variety of tasks throughout the conveyancing process to ensure matters progress efficiently from instruction through to completion.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>You will play a key role in supporting the team with a range of secretarial and administrative duties including;<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to solicitors in the Residential Conveyancing department.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing, formatting, and amending legal documents related to exchanges, and completion, providing post completion support, as well as working on our case management software and using the Land Registry Portals.<\/li>\n<li>Managing correspondence, telephone calls, and diary appointments.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with clients and third parties in a professional and confidential manner.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with file management, billing, and compliance processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous secretarial experience, preferably within Legal Service and ideally within Residential Conveyancing is desirable, but not essential.<\/li>\n<li>Strong typing (minimum 50wpm) and document production skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and organisational skills.<\/li>\n<li>A friendly, professional manner and a genuine commitment to client care.<\/li>\n<li>Personal pride in the quality of their work which should be to a high standard and delivered within the required timeframes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Due to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application straight away.
