This role will offer\u00a0<strong>hybrid\u00a0<\/strong>working\u00a0 (with a requirement to be on site with clients 1 or 2 days a week or when required), with a salary of<strong>\u00a0\u00a335-45K\u00a0<\/strong>(depending on experience). The role will be supporting clients in the Runcorn area and will involve visiting customer sites.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a\u00a0<strong>driven<\/strong>\u00a0individual who can support the delivery of our operational\u00a0<strong>procurement solutions<\/strong>\u00a0and build\u00a0<strong>effective relationships<\/strong>\u00a0with both\u00a0<strong>customers<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>suppliers.<\/strong>\u00a0This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career in procurement and work across a variety of categories and projects.<\/p>\n<p>You will join an existing procurement team, that has a strong focus on ethical and sustainable supply to provide the most effective solutions to our range of public sector customers. As Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process on behalf of the customer and working with the wider procurement team to deliver solutions which meets the needs of the customer. You will be involved in building supplier relationships and guiding them through the supplier onboarding process, ensuring we are engaging on a regular basis to fully understand a supplier\u2019s service offering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have the following skills and experience, then please get in touch:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Around 3+\u00a0years of procurement experience.<\/li>\n<li>CIPS qualified or equivalent experience.<\/li>\n<li>Some public sector procurement experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong commercial awareness with the ability to develop and build effective solutions<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder Management Experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the procurement process<\/li>\n<li>Social Value including how to embed through procurement to achieve objectives<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of PCRs and willingness to proactively learn and adopt new legislation\/policy notes to improve outcomes and ensure compliance<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work at pace with conflicting priorities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Above all we are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about working within the procurement industry and make a difference to some essential public sector organisations.
