We’re partnering with a manufacturing business operating in a technically demanding, process\u2011driven environment that places strong emphasis on product integrity and customer performance. As the business continues to mature its quality systems and culture, this role plays a central part in driving continuous improvement across operations.<\/p>\n
This is a hands\u2011on Quality Process Engineer<\/strong> position, working closely with manufacturing, technical and leadership teams to strengthen process control, reduce variation and improve overall customer experience.<\/p>\n What You’ll Do<\/p>\n Reporting to the Quality Manager<\/strong>, you’ll take ownership of day\u2011to\u2011day quality performance and improvement activity across the business. Your role will include:<\/p>\n – Analysing quality data, identifying trends and reporting performance to drive proactive improvement You’ll also play a broader role in embedding a “quality\u2011first” culture<\/strong>, supporting teams at all levels to take ownership of quality and process discipline.<\/p>\n What’s On Offer<\/p>\n – Salary:<\/strong> \u00a335,000-\u00a345,000 depending on experience What We’re Looking For<\/p>\n You’ll be an experienced Quality Engineer or Quality Process Engineer from a manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to iron foundry or high\u2011integrity casting processes<\/strong>. You’ll bring:<\/p>\n – Strong working knowledge of quality management systems and data\u2011driven improvement Awareness of ISO 9001 \/ IATF 16949<\/strong>, Lean or structured problem\u2011solving methodologies is advantageous. – Leading root cause investigations using tools such as 5 Whys and 8D, tracking corrective actions through to closure
– Implementing and maintaining effective process controls to reduce scrap, rework and customer returns
– Managing internal and external non\u2011conformances, including rejects, concessions and customer complaints
– Supporting audits, documentation, SOPs and quality alerts to ensure compliance and consistency<\/p>\n
