Are you an experienced care professional looking for \u00a0a change?<\/p>\n<p>Come and join the Agincare family as a care home\u00a0Deputy Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where you&#039;ll be working<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click here to view the care home: Care Home in Bexhill-on-Sea | St Peter&#039;s Park Retirement Village | Agincare<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As an Agincare employee you&#039;ll enjoy<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Up to \u00a355,000 per annum<\/li>\n<li>Refer a friend scheme up to \u00a31000<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding career development<\/li>\n<li>Fully funded training up to QCF Level 5<\/li>\n<li>Blue Light care discount package<\/li>\n<li>Company pension scheme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What is required from you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience of leading a team of care assistants (and Registered Nurses if clinical)<\/li>\n<li>QCF level 3 diploma or above in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of the CQC key lines of enquiry and other regulatory frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Must be available for to work 42 hours per week including weekend availability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>A day in the life of a Deputy Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As Deputy Manager you will be responsible for leading the care team to ensure that the care delivered to our resident is safe, supportive and person-centred.<\/p>\n<p>You will ensure that these needs are regularly reviewed to ensure they meet their current requirements, and ensure\u00a0the general standards of hygiene and cleanliness and equipment are maintained for their safety and wellbeing.<\/p>\n<p>You will support to the Registered Manager in the day to day running of the home, assuming full capacity in their absence.<\/p>\n<p>A typical day could include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Induction of new team members and the supervision and support to existing team members<\/li>\n<li>The completion of care audits to ensure good practice and trigger reviews in care provision for residents as needs change. Your care plans would be person-centred, with focus on dignity and individuality<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with family members, care professionals, social workers and the residents themselves to ensure a holistic and transparent care provision.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor, report and investigate risks and events of safeguarding concern or harm and ensure processes are in place to mitigate and\/or avoid these risks<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring administrative records such as daily care notes, medication charts and meeting notes are up to date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About Agincare<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Agincare is proudly celebrating 40<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0years of caring for communities.
