This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical insurance knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional service to Commercial clients.<\/p>\n<p>The Role of the Account Handler<\/p>\n<p>The Commercial Account Handler will play a key role in supporting a portfolio of Commercial clients, acting as a primary point of contact and ensuring insurance arrangements are managed accurately and compliantly. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of Commercial insurance products and regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with Commercial clients<\/li>\n<li>Act as the main point of contact for client enquiries, renewals and mid-term adjustments<\/li>\n<li>Provide tailored advice based on clients\u2019 insurance needs and risk profiles<\/li>\n<li>Manage policy documentation, endorsements and certificates with a high level of accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with underwriters to negotiate and secure appropriate coverage terms<\/li>\n<li>Analyse risk exposures to identify gaps and opportunities for improved coverage<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all policies comply with industry regulations and contractual obligations<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and well-organised electronic client files using Acturis<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports and insurance portfolio reviews for clients<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling insurance products<\/li>\n<li>Conduct peer quality checks to minimise errors and maintain compliance standards<\/li>\n<li>Keep up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes and best practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience &amp; Skills Required for the Account Handler<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Commercial insurance products<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of underwriting principles and industry regulations<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience using Acturis insurance software (or s<em>mila)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and organisational ability<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Professional, ethical and compliance-focused
