We are currently seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded specialist school in Bradford.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Role<\/strong><br \/>\nThis full-time role involves working within a supportive SEN environment, assisting pupils with a range of complex needs including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. You will work closely with Class Teachers and therapy teams to ensure every child has access to a tailored and inclusive education. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable young people in the Bradford area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\n* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with diverse learning needs.<br \/>\n* Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and facilitate engaging learning activities.<br \/>\n* Manage challenging behaviour with patience, using de-escalation techniques.<br \/>\n* Assist with personal care and mobility requirements where necessary.<br \/>\n* Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to the Class Teacher and parents.<br \/>\n* Foster a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\n*Experience supporting children or adults with SEN (school-based or care settings).<br \/>\n* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to student engagement.<br \/>\n* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.<br \/>\n* Knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL), PECS, or Makaton is highly desirable but not essential.<br \/>\n* A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).<br \/>\n* Availability to work full-time (Monday \u2013 Friday, 08:30 \u2013 15:30) during term time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><br \/>\n* Competitive daily rates of \u00a385 &#8211; \u00a3110, paid weekly via PAYE.<br \/>\n* Dedicated consultant support to guide you through your placement.<br \/>\n* Access to free CPD and training opportunities, including Safeguarding and Team Teach.<br \/>\n* The opportunity to work in a forward-thinking Bradford school with excellent facilities.<br \/>\n* &#034;Refer a Friend&#034; bonus schemes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you are a dedicated SEN TA looking for a new challenge in Bradford, we want to hear from you.
