Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – ARP (EYFS & KS1)<\/p>\n

Start Date: September 2026 (July 2026 start available for the right candidate)<\/p>\n
Contract: Full-time, long-term<\/p>\n
Daily Pay: \u00a3120 increasing after 12 working weeks.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
SANZA Teaching Agency are exclusively recruiting for an exceptional HLTA to join a well-regarded primary school in Hackney, working within their Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP).<\/p>\n
This is not a role for a generalist. The school is seeking a highly experienced, confident practitioner who can take a leading role within the ARP and make an immediate impact on provision for pupils with autism and complex needs, particularly across EYFS and Key Stage 1.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The Role<\/p>\n
You will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the ARP, supporting teaching and learning, leading interventions, and helping to shape a nurturing, structured, and highly responsive environment. For the right candidate, a July 2026 start is available to allow for a smooth transition and strong start in September.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The Ideal Candidate Will:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Hold HLTA status (or equivalent experience at this level)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Have extensive experience supporting children with autism and complex needs<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Be confident leading sessions and supporting staff within the ARP<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Bring a strong toolkit of strategies (e.g. communication systems, sensory regulation approaches, behaviour support techniques)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Have a deep understanding of early development, particularly within EYFS and KS1<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Be proactive, resilient, and highly adaptable<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Be passionate about inclusive education and achieving the best outcomes for every child<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
