This is a great opportunity to join a busy Fleet Management team in a home-based role where you will manage vehicle downtime, repair progression, supplier communication, cost control and customer reporting.<\/p>\n<p>As Maintenance Controller, you will be the central point of contact across internal teams, suppliers and customers, making sure vehicles off road are managed quickly, professionally and commercially. You will help keep VOR within agreed KPI tolerance, reduce unnecessary downtime, challenge repair costs where appropriate and identify opportunities for cost savings across the fleet.<\/p>\n<p> This Maintenance Controller role would suit someone who is confident working with data, suppliers and customers, and who can bring a calm, organised and proactive approach to a fast-moving fleet environment.<br \/> What you&#8217;ll be doing as Maintenance Controller: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing vehicle downtime and VOR activity to help keep vehicles moving and within agreed KPI targets<\/li>\n<li>Acting as the central liaison between suppliers, customers and internal departments<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring third-party repair spend and ensuring the most cost-effective repair route is taken<\/li>\n<li>Managing supplier relationships to promote value for money and service efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring vehicle off road issues are escalated within the correct timeframes<\/li>\n<li>Taking ownership of daily, weekly and monthly VOR reporting<\/li>\n<li>Presenting VOR data and providing meaningful insight into performance, trends and root causes<\/li>\n<li>Using R2C to resolve repair delays, cost queries and live operational issues<\/li>\n<li>Identifying VOR trends and recommending practical solutions<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing repairs and costs to identify what may be covered under manufacturer warranty<\/li>\n<li>Analysing monthly cost savings and sharing insight with your line manager and the wider business<\/li>\n<li>Supporting accurate and timely administration in line with SLA and KPI requirements<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring processes and identifying areas for improvement<\/li>\n<li>Keeping up to date with manufacturer technical updates<\/li>\n<li>Managing weekly trackers and store queries<\/li>\n<li>Supporting other areas of the team where required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>What we&#8217;re looking for:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fleet, automotive, transport or refrigeration industry experience<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in a Maintenance Controller, Fleet Maintenance Coordinator, VOR Coordinator, Repairs Coordinator, Service Controller or vehicle downtime role<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of R2C<\/li>\n<li>Good warranty knowledge would be highly beneficial<\/li>\n<li>Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong customer service and relationship-building skills<\/li>\n<li>A methodical, organised and systematic approach<\/li>\n<li>The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work through issues efficiently<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>A self-motivated approach, with the ability to work well from home<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> This is a really good opportunity for a Maintenance Controller who enjoys problem solving, supplier management, cost control and using data to make better decisions.
