If you&#8217;re passionate about the construction industry and keen to grow in a technical design role, we encourage you to apply.<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HNC or equivalent in a construction-related subject<\/li>\n<li>Basic construction knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Windows and standard IT tools<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills, including professional telephone manner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desirable<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with Tekla, AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor<\/li>\n<li>Project management capability<\/li>\n<li>Degree in construction, structural or civil engineering<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a design office or construction environment<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of construction products and their applications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To manage customer orders within the Project Design and Management (PDM) department, ensuring efficient delivery and customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Handle orders from initial enquiry through to delivery and account closure<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with customers for information, updates, and issue resolution<\/li>\n<li>Attend site meetings when required<\/li>\n<li>Produce accurate designs, drawings, calculations and manufacturing schedules<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate approvals and production requirements<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the Project Manager and PDM Team Manager on task allocation<\/li>\n<li>Support colleagues and contribute to team knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Be adaptable to evolving business needs and undertake additional duties as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Results-driven<\/li>\n<li>Innovative thinking<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration<\/li>\n<li>Sound judgement<\/li>\n<li>Resilience<\/li>\n<li>Strategic mindset<\/li>\n<li>Clear vision and purpose<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p>The Clever Fish Recruitment reviews all applications.
