This is a hands-on, site-based role with plenty of variety and the opportunity to work across different locations.<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>THE FIELD TECHNICIAN ROLE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visiting sites across the UK to carry out surveys within utilities and electrical environments<\/li>\n<li>Completing testing related to earthing and electrical systems<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out inspections of electrical meters and associated equipment<\/li>\n<li>Gathering accurate information and measurements while on site<\/li>\n<li>Writing up findings in a clear and structured way for the engineering team<\/li>\n<li>Providing reliable data to support ongoing projects<\/li>\n<li>Looking after survey equipment and ensuring it&#8217;s kept in good working order<\/li>\n<li>Working safely at all times, particularly on active sites<\/li>\n<li>Planning and managing your own day-to-day site visits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>THE PERSON:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in a Field Technician role or something similar &#8211; Field Operative, Site Technician, Site Surveyor<\/li>\n<li>Must be based in the Manchester area<\/li>\n<li>Full UK driving licence is essential<\/li>\n<li>Happy working in a field based role with regular travel<\/li>\n<li>Good attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Able to communicate clearly, both on site and in written reports<\/li>\n<li>Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>TO APPLY:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send your CV for the Field Technician role via the advertisement for immediate consideration.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>By sending an application or applying for a job, you consent to your personal data being processed and stored by Get Recruited (UK) Ltd in accordance with our Cookie &amp; Privacy Policy (available in the footer on our website).
