You\u2019ll be great with people \u2013 a real \u2018people person\u2019, able to communicate effectively \u2013 explaining yourself clearly in the right tone to suit the situation and be really good at understanding others (behaviours and expressions, as well as vocal). Having a good sense of humour and resilience, and a willingness to help residents with their personal hygiene are also important.<\/p>\n
What you will be doing\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n You will join an inclusive, supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. <\/p>\n Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will use your excellent communication skills and experience as a Team Leader with a background in Learning Disabilities & Autism\u00a0to provide care and support people through their care pathway.<\/p>\n It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of you; being able to do something today that they couldn\u2019t do last week.<\/p>\n You will\u00a0be working on a 3-week rolling rota with a mixture of late and early shifts. There are a mixture of shift lengths from 7.5 hour to 8.5 hours (including weekends).<\/p>\n \n\u00a0As a Team Leader you will have:<\/strong><\/p>\n You must live in the UK and have the Right to Work in the UK full time.\u00a020-hour Student and Skilled Worker Visa's cannot be accepted.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Where you will be working:<\/strong> Arabella Drive is based in Roehampton and is part of our learning disability and autism division and provides support for people who may be living with moderate learning disabilities with associated health needs, autism and behaviours which, due to their diagnosis may be seen as challenging.
